Higher tiers layer on Cloud Shield protections: Shield adds ad and tracker blocking, Fortress adds anti-malware and phishing protection on top of Shield. Larger teams can talk to us about Citadel, our custom business plan with category-based web filtering, application control, the NetGuard remote access gateway, and dedicated servers.

Billing is per user, per month, or per year if you choose annual billing — up to 37% cheaper depending on tier. On the web, payments are processed by Stripe (Ireland, EU). On iOS and macOS, by the Apple App Store. On Android, by Google Play. You're charged at the start of each billing cycle for the channel you signed up through.
Yes. On the web, upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and Stripe prorates the change automatically. For App Store and Google Play subscriptions, plan changes follow the platform's own rules — upgrades typically take effect immediately with prorated credit, downgrades at the next renewal.
Yes. There are no contracts and no cancellation fees, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. If you subscribed on the web, cancel from the Stripe billing portal linked in your account. If you subscribed through the App Store, cancel under Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device. On Google Play, cancel under Play Store › Account › Subscriptions.
Yes — 14 days on first-time subscriptions purchased directly from us through Stripe. Email billing@veloguardian.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google directly, under their own refund policies.
On the web, all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) plus Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe. On iOS and macOS, any payment method on file with your Apple ID. On Android, any payment method on your Google account. We can arrange invoicing for enterprise deployments on the Citadel plan.
No. We use Stripe Checkout for web purchases and the Apple App Store or Google Play for mobile in-app purchases. Card numbers, expiry dates, CVV codes, and bank details go directly to those providers and never reach VeloGuardian's systems — not even as metadata like the last 4 digits. All we hold is an opaque customer identifier from the payment processor.
